Has anyone else on this board become pregnant post their Nissen Fundoplication procedure? My husband and I although we used every precaution in the book found out that I am pregnant just 5 months after my surgery. I am so nauseas that I am loosing weight by the day. In two weeks I have lost 9 pounRAB and I am so uncomfortable. My ob-gyn is not concerned about the surgery stating he has had this before in his 30 years of experience but I do wonder how safe it is for me and the baby.
Prior to getting pregnant I was not burping nor was I having any reflux symptoms but now I am and I know it's because I'm unable to eat anything and my stomach aciRAB are acting up.
If you have had this can anyone relate or give my some advice. The baby will be delivered c-section but I just worry about how much a body can take in one year. I'm only 30 but still........
