predictions on how long the ps3 will last before it fails?

the fat ps2 seemed to last about 2 years before disc errors

slim ps2 had trouble initally with overheating

xbox 360 had power supply problems, right?

right, or in my case, turning the wheel to realign it. never had to do that with any game console before

well, i did have to blow in the cartridges of my nes before i replaced the connector

None of my systems ever failed on me, this includes the PS2 and launch 360.

unlike the ps1 and ps2 sony is marketing this as a highend consumer electronic item. cheap sony shit breaks quick, expensive sony shit is built very well and lasts for years. i'm willing to bet the ps3 actually wont break very easy
