My daughter's close friend, who is 12 is bi.. She likes a girl but the girl she likes broke up with her. Well now my daughter is getting texts from her gay friend saying she is depressed and cutting herself and kind of hinting that she is thinking suicide. My daughter is all upset and crying that her friend is doing and saying these things... My questions is this... this girl is only 12 and we know her parents.. I'm thinking that she is only doing this for attention because 12 year olds aren't in serious relationships... they haven't even really hit puberty for very long. What do I tell my daughter to tell her, and should I tell the parents or just assume she is just being a drama queen?
