Pre history for astronomy ? Is astronomy through our modern scientists more a guestimate than real facts as of today .Investigating dust and gas pictures with light years theory(away=years ago) seems to me like real waste of time and money.Tell me that i am wrong? if you can...

well i know there are many kinds of common man like u who don't understand the importance of astronomy.its hard for u to understand but still i'll give it a try...
1.to find a new place in the cosmos because most of the scientists believe that earth is doomed....most of its resources are empty and that there are many threats to life(just imagine if a normal sized asteroid hits the earth...everything is gone...we are all dead
