Pre-evolution trigger for biological evolution?

How exactly did evolution become triggered prior to the first development of biological life? Is it possible that what we call biological evolution is simply manifested from sort of related cosmic evolution? If you are a creationist/religious dont bother to reply.
"Before life there could not be any biological evolution."

I'm not saying there was. I'm simply asking how it was triggered initially.
The conditions had to be exactly right, there is no doubt. But what exactly allowed these conditions to motivate the so-called primordial soup to evolve into the first organisms? Well, it seems like that would have to be the process of evolution itself, which must only have existed prior to biological life... in my opinion.
