1. Suppose that A is an acute angle and tan(A) = 4/3. Find sin(A) and sec(A).

2. Given the triangle ABC. Suppose AB = 7, AC = 19 and the measure of angle A is 45o. What is the area of the triangle ABC?

tan(A) = sin(A)/cos(A)
4/3 = (2/3) / (1/2)
sin(A) = 2/3
cos(A) = 1/2, so sec(A) = 2
