praying to god in the Hindu culture ?

i am a hindu and my mom takes a shower and writes sai baba's name everyday before 12...she does not right it after 12...i asked her once y she does it b4 12 and she said that thats just how it is, but she also said that they can do it after 6 is this true???? pleez answer b/c i want 2 start writing 2 but i dont know im scared i will make a mistake
 
You have to have met Sai Baba and have a psychic connection to him before you start worrying whether writing his name will offend him. I don't think writing his name at an inappropriate time would offend a man of God. If he specifically told your mother to write his name before 12, then she should, but that doesn't necessary apply to you.
