Kyma,
Good luck and please post as soon as you are able. I hope the surgery isn't too bad and that it is a huge success. I will keep you in my prayers.
We can be recovery buddies. I am just 3 weeks ahead of you. I'm doing well and have so far found everything easier than I was anticipating. I hope you will, too.
Sending a prayer for a speedy recovery your way
Thanks so much for all the prayers and well wishes. I wanted to let all of you know that I called the surgeon's office this morning and they said everything was fine with the EKG so the surgery is definitely on. I have to report to the hospital at 5:30 a.m. so we are leaving here at 3:00 a.m. I don't know the actual time of surgery because they pretty much tell everyone to be there at 5:30. I hope I am early.
I went to my GP today to get all my blood pressure prescriptions so I can get sent into mail pharmacy. I had to wait 1 1/2 hrs. to get in to see the Nurse Practicioner and I was really hurting by then. I told my husband I was giving them 10 more minutes and then I was leaving. I guess they heard me because they called my name. My blood pressure was up but she said she knew I was frustrated and she apologized for the long wait. I have been running all day and then when I got home our children and grandchildren came over. I was glad to see all of them because I know they are concerned for me also and they won't be there until I get out of surgery because of the small grandchildren. I started cleaning the house which I normally cannot do anyway but I just have the jitters. I just want this surgery over and onto recovery.
I will get back to you all as soon as I can get to my laptop. Thanks again to all of you and I pray and wish for good health for everyone also.
