Prayer needed for Corpus Christi Texas

I will take the higher road and say that maybe my post was in ill taste. After all people have a right to worry and take care of such problems whatever way they see fit. I apologize for offending you and your delicate temperment during this high stress time, Navy Princess. However, reacting like a child who has been told Santa is not real isn't the mature way to handle things.

My thoughts are with those who for whatever insane reason decided to stay behind. While their deaths will serve as a statistic for another tragedy, and I will respect the dead, I would be lieing if I said I felt sorry for them or any need to "pray" for them. They made their choice. That is all.

We know, Jiraffe, and we respect you for that... Bear in mind though, I'm sure at least most of them have insurance on their homes, but as someone (I think Navy) pointed out before, not all insurances cover damages dealt by hurricanes, which means they're up shit creek without a paddle when it hits their homes.

I'd say, let's pray for them to have a home to return to, or be safe at their homes if they couldn't get out soon enough...

I accept your apology and I think I am done on this site for the night because I am a little emotional and do not need to go off on anyone that does not need it. I apologize for being a little emotional Jiraffe and taking things out on you and thank you for your thoughts and for everyone that prays or thinks about the people and their families that live in or around Corpus Christi Texas.
