Prayer needed for Corpus Christi Texas

Well it seems that Hurricane Ike is on the path to destruction for Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. I ask that you all pray for all of us that are not their for our familys that are still there and trying to get out and all the people that live there and the surrounding areas. I am stuck in Bahrain and feel so helpless. It seems if it does stay on the path it is going I will and may come home to nothing. So all prayers and thoughts are welcome. Life truely suck sometimes.
 
Shit, if I weren't Atheist I'd probably pray or some shit. It's good to know, though. I've got a few buddies out here with me that are from there, so they probably don't know(calling home isn't exactly an easy task), so I'll have to let them know...
 
When you say out here where are you referring to? Like I said I am in Bahrain and if you want to know more on what is going on you can track it on weatherchannel.com. Thanks for the thought anyway and tell your friends I hope that their families are safe as well.
 
Navy, you're still in Bahrain? I thought you were supposed to come back months ago?

Um...no.

I have a better fucking idea. How about those in the way of the hurricane take affirmative action and get the fuck away from where the hurricane is going to hit instead of acting like a sunday school class of nine year olds, hoping that through prayer the hurricane will magically disappear?
 
I more understood it as hoping the people there don't lose their homes and shit. It's not like they're going to take everything with them if there's a hurricane coming in. Even if they were to do so, not 100% sure on this, but I don't think all insurance policies protect against hurricanes. O_o Though, I dunno. I don't have a house, I live in a can. =O
 
Hey stupid what part of my post did you not get I asked that you pray for the families to get to safety and that I WAS IN BAHRAIN!!!!! People are leaving and Awaken was right the prayer is for those houses and the families that will be losing them if it hits full force. Maybe you should read the whole thread before replying to it.
 
It seems to me that if you live somewhere where hurricanes have hit in the past you would make damn sure to know if your insurance covers hurricanes or not. But I don't know, I'm an unapologetic cynical asshole.:)
 
I still think the idea of a prayer is funny. I just threw in what I thought my opinion would be if I were religious. I'm going to go talk to my imaginary friend now, and hopefully he'll help all those guys out down in Corpus Christi.
 
Stupid? Nah. What part of my post didn't you get? If people are dumb enough to stay behind and not have insurance fuck them. Also, you react like a 3 year old.:rolleyes:
 
Thank you dear just to reassure you my boys are safe its just my house and things I am worried about. I mean there really is nothing I can do til I get home from Bahrain in January.




Oh and 53V3N I came home a month ago on a medical thing but I am back out here til Jan now.
