I have esophagitis and have been on ppI's for about 6 months now, and they're not working for me. I have also discovered that I am one of the unlucky 1% that actually puts weight on with them!!!! I am so frustrated, my GP doesn't seem to care all he does is keep on prescribing different brands and I keep going back frustrated and annoyed. I have mentioned surgery, but he Isn't keen on the Idea ( although it's not him constantly puking in his own mouth!!) Has anyone over come this horrible disease, and if so how??????
ppI's are not working.....any Ideas please?
