ppc6700 Can send MMS but cant receive MMS.

I have followed the posts on how to enable WAP and MMS on my vx6700 and I can send just fine and surf the net just fine. When someone tries to send me a pic, a MSG pops up and says Prepairing Vision Services. I am unable to receive any MMS messages. Im using the simple and clean 3.5 Kirvin. Any ideas?

When you soft reset your phone, do you see a Sprint logo?

I had this same problem and it was that I had installed the Sprint version of Clean and Simple. The solution was to install the generic one (I ended up with some helicopters as my startup screen).

Yeah
hard reset your device and then when it says 3 secounRAB to customize soft reset it using the bottom hole with styles, you let it customized with the sprint software and now its trying to initilize your powervision. Do this redo your settings problem solved

Awesome! Ok, so now I have done the X-Cricket-MDN registry hack and when I receive a msg, it shows up in the inbox, and when I click on it and select download, it says Unable to receive your message. Your message notification will remain in the inbox. I am able to connect to the internet but not send MMS or receive mms.. Any ideas?

If you configure the MMS composer to use the modem connection you configured instead of "The Internet," you'll be able to use MMS even when it's hooked up to your computer. The problem you're seeing right now is that it looks for an open internet connection to send messages through, and the open connection is your computer's.

Glad you got it figured out; I knew it had something to do with Sprint.
