ppc 6700 modem connection

i have got my ppc flashed to cricket, i have successfully got mms and the internet working. thanks for the helpful info here.
my problem right now is i can get my phone to connect as a modem but after it connects any site i enter starts to load and then just stops. in my connections settings. i can see it sending data and recieving data sort of moves then just stays stagnent. i have searched a whole lot of different sites for more info but i thought i'd try here since i have been more that able to use the info here to get this far.

Try adding the same proxy server "Wap.mycricket.com" and use the port 8080 to your browser(pc). That should work. Mine works fine with the proxy.

I have tried that. My pc is setup to match the phone settings.

make sure you set it in the dialup settings not browser LAN settings. thats where i had to do it in ie 7.0

tried it. no luck. when observing the modem connection. there is a lock and check mark icon next to the receiving computer icon. any idea if that is the problem. how do I change those settings?

GOT IT! I think it had to do with my registry settings. It had wmodem set to 0. I set it to 1. Did a soft reset. Connected the phone and here i am replying to this on my computer with my PPC 6700 as my modem. This is so cool. This phone is doing everything that it could do on other carriers but on Cricket.
