Symphony X, despite that everpresent Sticky proclaiming them to be progressive metal. You can't be progressive metal over power metal when your lyrics are about pharaohs, Werewolves, Communion and oracles.

And oh yeah, the fact they absolutely own.

Apart from the first two none of those are power metal buddy, and half aren't even metal. I'm sure theres a favourite banRAB thread around that you can bump if you'd like though.

they are not power metal, they are death metal. i like most of their stuff... fast, technical, deep vocals, etc.
