Power-Lock problem on 2002 Mazda Protege?

I have 02 Mazda protege and the power lock on my passenger door is not working anymore. When I use the remote all other 3 doors unlock and lock but the passenger door makes this ugly loud noise and the lock doesn't move. It doesn't lock or unlock either. When I use the key on the passenger it does lock and unlock, but still makes that noise. What could be the problem? How much would it cost to fix it? I can't spend more than 100 dollars on it. Is it worth fixing it? Will the other 3 doors break too if I don't fix it? Thanks.
 
its the lock solenoid . most have a small motor with a gear and that's the sound you hear . change this and it will work again by the way try salvage yard and save .
