Power lock failure on 2005 Toyota Corolla?

I have a 2005 toyota corolla and my front passenger door lock is stuck. The door handles do not work, nor does a key. When the car is locked, it makes almost a machine gun sound. I am totally unable to open the door. What is wrong and how much will it cost to fix it?
 
Oh-boy. You may need to try to remove the inner panel to get at the linkage. The linkage may have come undone, or has jammed. The problem may be that to get the panel off without damage, usually the door needs to be open. Best of luck.
