Potential Risks and Dangers of Having "Safe" Sex?

What are the dangers of having sex if the male is wearing a condom?

Particularly if it's the couple having sex for the first time. There is a girl who keeps coming round to my room in our dorm/hostel and in the next week I'm sure we are going to have sex. I've had sex before with girlfriends etc but I trusted them lots more, where they have been, who they been with etc.

What's the risks of having no strings sex with people you don't really know. Just the potential for infection etc, not really the emotional side.
All the readings I've looked at say sex with lesser known friends is very risky, but people have sex all the time?
 
well u cud end up with a kid, STD, yeah u wear a condom..u cud still get these! the only 100% way is to not have it
 
id say make sure she is on the pill and your wearing a condom but i wouldnt just have sex with random people you could get infection

well you can catch something like herpes just from kissing then there is everything else if the rubber breaks but hell your young take a chance
