potential ownage, iPhone won't work with many Corporate email systems

im not talkin about the IT dept bending over for 1-5 users

obviously.

I'm talking about a big enough surge in users that it forces it to go that way

regardless of IT suggestions

No, that's not my point. My point is, they don't realize there is a rate plan at all that they need to purchase for the all the different features.

that sucks, but it happens with every carrier. my good friend has the vp of tmobile on speed dial with all his issues. But then again he works with them too.

but what says most companies don't already supply their employees with email-equipped phones? Why would they decide iphone is the right one for them, the one they NEED? For $600.

you come off like a real big IT dick.

I know more IT guys that seem more open than you are.

You must hate your job.

I worked at a huge law firm that was always up to date on the latests and greatest tech...IT dept was very cool.

8th largest firm in the city too.

How do you know it comes with one of the best batteries? Do you own one? Just because an ipod battery lasts a while doesn't mean that when you couple ipod with cell phone and PDA, that its going to get good battery life. I carry around a spare battery just because when you spend 2-3 hours making phone calls all day + constant emails + some web surfing, the thing goes dead.

Exactly. Real companies don't just adopt something the day it comes out because users want it to. Shit, I'm sure a ton of people want Vista because 'it looks cool' but companies are waiting (at least) for SP1 to come out and they are testing to make sure their software works on the new OS. Same with the iPhone. They are going to want to test it for a while...
