Ok, I have finally said i'm done with Starchoice.
I am considering the switch to Bell, i just hope this decison doesn't bite me in the A$$..
Here is my setup:
I just built a new house and ran Cat6 wire everywhere, giving me the freedom to run the recievers from central spot with each room wired for multilpe HDMI, or component outputs. I have a 4X8 Multi switch, so i have lots of sat in.
I currently run 4 recievers with starchoice. Running 6 tv's in the house. 2 are PVR's. I liked starchoice because of there UHF remotes but just but there recievers are just too old to comptete with Bell.
So i would liek to know from you fellow Bell owneres the recivers i should buy. I would like to record on all TV's but only 2 need the Dual tuners. Also with starchoice i run one tv off DVI and 1 off Component in two tvs that usually aren't being watched at the same time so its not a big deal that they watch the same channels.. ie. bedroom, is connected with theatre room, etc..
I also have real no need for SD tv, so the one Bell reciver that offers a a second tuner for SD doesn't interest me at all.
I was thinking of getting 1 Dual tuner HD(can't remember the reciever number) and 3 of the siongle tuners(and add external HD) as long as i can run two tv's still from 1 recievers.
Also how have the UHF remotes been with the Bell , good range??
Also as far as programming is $100 pretty much going to get every channel like Starchoice??
Any other recomendations..???
Thanks everyone..
