Got the same ones...bought them a year ago, and I love them. Prior to that, I had the Sony MDR-V600's....they lasted nine years and sounded great, so no complaints there either! Hope to get at least that out of the Sennheisers.

yeah i have the hd280, they are definantly my fav cheaper headphones for listening to music, especially since they still can be driven by a discman

Open air, very clear high end

Broken strap and loose on one side, will have to be replaced soon
