post things you learned about the wii since you got it!

That's exactly what my friend said too when he saw my Wii stand.
"Dude, you know your Wii is on a dvd right?"
"Nah dude, thats the stand."
"What?"
"THE STAND....MAKES THE Wii STAND."
"....oh."
 
if you are dinking around in the photo channel, in the menu where you can select doodle etc. if you grab the cat running in the top of the screen with b + a it'll give you a secret
 
you can change the volume of the wiimote by pressing home, then clicking on the wiimote you want to select

holding down the power button on the remote, puts the wii in sleep but connect24 is up
holding down the power button the wii unit turns it off (well, a soft off)

putting the wii horizontal makes it low profile, but suppossedly makes it run hotter

the wii will currently only play wii games and gamecube games

it can grab images off your bluetooth enabled cell phone, but i have yet to get this to work
 
so my boyfriends brothers got one and I went to there house for thanksgiving and played the thing for 4 hours, I'm not a videogame person and even I could use it, I WANT ONE!!!
