Post-Metal

Arrogant but true.

As for Neurosis: Times of Grace is one of my favorite albums of all genres but I have a real affinity for Enemy of the Sun. I just recently put it back into my regular rotation and it hits the spot. Through Silver in Blood neeRAB some more play too - I remeraber thinking of it as quintessential post metal at one point

Since urban hatemonger posted a link to the thread, I'm guessing it will be fine to revive, gonna have to throw in Alcest to the mix, epic post-metal.

Some good post-metal or post-rock albums

Pelican "City Of Echoes"
Pelican "The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw"
Russian Circles "Enter
Isis "In the Absence of Truth"
Isis "Panopticon"
Isis "Oceanic"
Year Of No Light "Nord"
Explosions In The Sky "The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place"
Jesu "Conquerer"
Jesu "Silver"

What are the vocals like on Alcest? I see they're labeled as black metal so is there black metal type vocals or what?
