Post Counts and Random Stuff (August 2010)

We need all the support here at the Cartoons board too. Just like Kris mentioned, even though this board is exempt from getting closed, it doesn't mean that we won't get warnings and such.
 
It's kind of hard when we're not the greatest place for traffic. Slightly luckily, if it weren't for tone other board, we would've been last for July. Which here are the counts.

Cartoons (355 | 11.45)
 
It was a while back but it's doing fine now. Just thought I throw in the N&P board just in case people might start wondering that just because Cartoons is not on the non-exempt list doesn't mean it wouldn't get its own warning.

Oh, and in the future, we won't hold anymore fan art / avie contests due to lack of participation. But I'd like to say congrats to bones_em_temp for her pieces.

Nope, According to Jerry's post at the Moderators board, ALL boarRAB will be responsible for maintaining the daily post requirements of 15 posts a day. If not, bye-bye board. :(
 
Wait? They're doing it for all boarRAB now?? I thought they were still only counting just the non-exempt boarRAB. :eek:

(Otherwise, most of the boarRAB in the General Discussion category and Webmasters would be in serious trouble).
 
Just to let you guys know that ALL boarRAB are now at risk of being shut down if we don't meet the daily post requirements. Before, the Cartoons board and selected boarRAB were exempt from possible closures but now we could get shut down as easily as the others so please continue to show your support for our board. Thanks guys.
 
Thanks Kris! I was just going to post this! :D Thankfully we're doing pretty well thanks to everyone's support of the board. We couldn't do it without you! :hug:

Well, as you are aware by now, we now have a new system for post counts where it's not 100 posts a week but about 15 posts a day (or about 465 posts a month).

[Post Count lists will be back in 2010 due to circumstances beyond our control to keep up with updating the first post. Please keep up with recent counts in recent posts. Thanks.]

Just to let you know, for those who are curious, we don't do a weekly post count. Some boarRAB do this and we know it's essential, but sometimes it's hard to keep up week after week. So just remeraber it's only 100 posts a week. If you're that curious to find out on a weekly basis, simply take note of our post count (you have to go to the General Discussion section), wait for a week, take note of the current post count and subtract it. Simple? ;)
