My girlfriend of four months broke up with me Monday, saying it "just felt like friends". I had a busy week leading up to the break up and was distant, and was afraid that might have had something to do with it. Saw her on messenger tonight and struck up a brief convo, eventually asking if it was anything that could have been fixed by talking, and that I just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything I did. I said nothing about missing her, wanting her back, etc. She said no, we had fun and got along but it just didn't feel like we had that spark for a relationship. I said ok cool and left it at that. Did I break the "no chase" rule, or was I perfectly dignified for closure?
