Hi,

How can I confirm that the BB is unlocked. I used MFI and got 1 (pass). After that I used desktop manager and upgraded that software. What do I do next to use the 8830 world on metro pcs. I have metro pcs on a different phone.

I have a BB 8830 world edition. It has a Verizon SIM in it. I followed the MFI loader method.
1. Connected phone with MFI and got a 1 (pass)
2. Updated the phone with desktop manager.

does this mean the phone is unlocked? Do we need to unlock the phone separately for GSM and CDMA use?
I inserted a different SIM card but the phone says "novalid SIM card".

3. How do I use the phone with Metro PCS (CDMA). I have an existing account with metro pcs on another phone. I just want use blackberry for the same account.

From what I read from other posts is that I need to purchase a unlock code to get the GSM working on a different carrier.

Please tell me how to proceed. Thanks in advance.

Is there any way of getting the maps apps without paying the extra monthly cost to my supplier. No way i am paying an extra
 
How do you do to unlock the 7105t???? i open the mfi multiloader and then when i connect the phone doenst happens nothing the program doesnt do anything
 
my phone is unluck. I trying erasing 9000 bold with mml can't be reconect to radio. n phone was dead. I flash agian the phone was normal but still unlock. I think I need MEP-18601-001. because I try to unlock with furious gold can't be. with comment try yo slow methode. any body have this mep 18601-001. please.....
