Possible mini-stroke/TIA, doctors no help?

I would really appreciate it if you read this. I don't know what to do here...

I'm in a bad situation here. I doubt anyone can help me but perhaps someone has an idea. I am having stroke symptoms but since I also have had anxiety my whole life the doctors do not take it seriously.

Let me also add that my anxiety is almost solely confined to social anxiety disorder. It only becomes really bad around a lot of people. And since I have had anxiety my whole life I am very aware of the symptoms of anxiety and how it affects me.

But what I've been feeling lately feels nothing like it. The left side of my body has been going numb. There has been ringing in my ears. I get nauseous. My lips and head feel numb at times like your foot might feel when it falls asleep. I get a dizzy and detached feeling. The other day it got really bad and it was hard to walk and at times speak. I think I am suffering from TIA. Or mini-strokes as they are sometimes called.

It is a scary feeling. It feels like I'm not getting enough oxygen to my brain. Sometimes it feels like I'm on the verge of passing out. But the doctors here do not seem to care. One told me "I do not *think* it's a stroke." But he said it in a way that it was clear he was unsure.

To me that is like saying "I do not *think* it's rabies. The problem is, this is not a situation where you want to be guessing. This is my life, and I am at a loss as to what to do, or how to get them to take it seriously.

I have been having these symptoms to varying degrees since I went to the ER. Any advice?
You don't understand I have been to the ER. I told them it's not anxiety. I told them the anti-anxiety med they forced me to take made me relaxed but did nothing to lessen the symptoms. They do not care. They do not believe it's a stroke. That's the problem.
