So I have been on Nuvaring for almost 3 months now, and use it continuously. I have it in for 4 weeks, then trade it out immediately. Well, a few days before I was supposed to change for the 3rd time, I got spotting, very light. Also have had nausea, headaches on and off, burping and almost vomitting (I NEVER burp), extreme fatigue, a little lightheadedness, and a low grade fever...all of this for about a week and a half now. Spotting has stopped though.
I took a few urine pregnancy tests...all negative.
What are the chances this is a false negative, and I am just testing too early? There's really no way to mess up with this Nuvaring...but since I don't have periods...I don't really know when is right to test. When I started the nuvaring they had me put it in about 5 days before I was supposed to get my period.
Could this be side effects of the BC? Wouldn't I have had them show up already?
I am just really confused about all of it, and would just like some outside opinions of other options. My health insurance doesnt kick in for 2 months, so I don't want to go to the doctor just yet, I already had to rack up $7k in medical bills on a hospital stay this year.
