For a couple of months now my boyfriend has been noticing self-control problems. In the past he has been a very level-headed man, it taking a lot to get him angry at all.
Lately, he's been noticing that he'll get instantly angry over little, irrational things that he recognizes as irrational and silly to get angry over. His aggression is really up, too. A good example would be when I popped a pimple on his back, it hurt, and he felt like he was instantly angry, about to boil over with rage. He recognizes it as a problem. We agree if it doesn't improve he needs to go to the doctor or something. There's been no recent changes in life to cause it.
Any possible things that could cause this? Physiological maybe? Thought I'd check.
He doesn't do any drugs, and rarely drinks anything.
