positive pregnancy tests..doctors appointment..nervous! plz help!?

okay so i got two positive pregnancy tests and i am really nervous. i am going to call and make a doctors appointment but im nervous about that too.. what do i call and say? do i say hi im pregnant i need to see the doctor or just ask for a annual pap smear etc.?

Congratulations! Yay! Just call your regular doctor and tell him/her that you need an appt because you got a positive pregnancy test.

They will likely do another test at your doctor's office and then refer you to an obgyn for the remainder of your pregnancy care. Your obgyn will probably do your first pregnancy pap and all that good stuff.
 
Oh, You just say that you need to schedule a prenatal appointment because you just took two home tests that both came back positive. They will pretty much walk you through it after that. :) Congrats!
 
Just call your obgyn, or if you dont have one, you can go to the health department in your area, tell them you took a pregnancy test and it came back positive, and you just want to make sure....they will know what to do from there...dont be nervous, if you are really nervous you can have someone else call the doc for you but they will ask u questions that only you will know so I would say just go ahead and do it....
 
Just call your GYN and say "I've taken two pregnancy tests that came out positive and I'd like to come in to confirm." You're not the first person that's done it, you won't be the last and there's nothing to be nervous about.
