Positive pregnancy test on Friday and H level at 2 on Tuesday?

I took a Home pregnancy test on Friday afternoon. It said that I was pregnant. I had sexual intercourse with my husband on Saturday. Sunday I started to spot. It continued on and on Tuesday I went to the hospital for a blood draw and it said my HCG levels were at a 2. What is going on with me?
 
Renee, I kind of sounds like a miscarriage to me. I am really sorry to say that. They really can't honestly say either way though just based off of one number, so I would see your doctor for more testing and if the spotting continues, don't worry to rush to the ER unless you are filling up more than one pad an hour. Although I must say the spotting doesn't mean you are miscarrying, I spotted with both of my pregnancies, and the on I didn't spot with I had a miscarriage. But the low number may indicate a miscarrige. (((HUGS))) Good luck!
 
Yeah sounds like a miscarriage if you HCG levels dropped that low. But spotting in early pregnancy is very normal. You need to go to the doctors and have an ultrasound done.
 
Spotting is normal in early pregnancy but you don't have to fill a pad for it to be a miscarriage. I had light spotting with mine. The low levels might mean that you are not very far along. Give it a couple days then go for more blood work or if you start to get cramps or a back ache I would go in. These are more signs of miscarrying. I wish you the best hope all is well, if not I am really sorry.
