I am an aspiring photgrapher and a friend has asked if I could take some shots for her website. She would like them done in her garage-- which would definatley need some lighting--but since I am only starting out, the only lighting I have at the moment is a red head tungsten 800w.. any tips or suggestions?

so, get creative... and use reflectors.

if all your light is tungsten then just add more. (ordinary incandescant lamps are tungsten)

or you can mix lights and photoshop them afterwards... if youre shooting digital then just reset the white balance.. use the flash as a fill to your main light.
