i'm currently on a family plan with Verizon Wireless under my parents name. i'd like to port my number to another carrier... but i have a doubt because i read somewhere online that my phone has to be active in order to port my number.
so here comes my question... verizon wireless contract doesnt end until September 2011... but i want to port my number like by the end of May... if i port my number will Verizon Wireless charge me a disconnection fee/cancelation fee? If so for how much...
