I am debating that pornography is bad for society. I need arguments and links!
Please help!
nope, it is not for the forensic league.

I don't know if you're doing this for a debate club or paper so I included both sides. I don't know about links but here are some ideas from the top of my head:

Against Porn:

1. Reinforces the degradation of women, and their existence as mere sex objects for men.
2. Threatens the sacredness of monogamous relationships,
3. For those who don't believe in relationships involving only 1 man and 1 woman, it threatens those values (ex. porn depicts -- one women with many men, one man with many women, bisexual relationships, gay/lesbian relationships)
4. Degrades the sacredness of sex -- you can probably bring up Christian rhetoric about the sin of lust, point out the detriments of have having multiple partners, having sex outside marriage (particularly between a man and a woman)

For Porn:
1. Allows people to experience their sexual fantasies privately and without harming anyone (ie. If an adult is fascinated by teen sex, they can watch teen porn rather than actually commit statutory rape and have sex with a teen). Also, it allows people to enjoy watching sex that might not be considered acceptable/attractive in mainstream society (ie. fat, inter-racial, orgies, S&M etc)

2. Can help keep a relationship interesting (an established couple can watch porn to get into the mood ---> can make the argument that it helps to keep monogamous relationships together)

3. From the other side of the mirror, it may be argued that porn is empowering to women. Women pornstars make way more than male pornstars, they are more popular and they are basically free to sleep with any man they please (not confined by marriage or the obligation to be in a monogamous relationship).
