Donnie Darko - usually like this kind of film where you have to work out what's going on, but I just couldn't be bothered with this one - maybe I should give it another chance.


LOTR was OK I suppose if you're a fan of the books, but I never liked the books - so wouln't go so far as to say they're bad films.
 
That was Solaris. It was a remake of a Russian film of the same name by Andre Tarkovsky, which is a far superior film. Another pointelss remake!
Don't agree with you on T3 though. I know a lot of Terminator fans didn't like this film, but it's the only one I've bought on DVD (mainly because it's nearly impossible to get the original theatrical version of T2 on DVD) - sorry, going a bit off the subject of the thread.
 
I bought "Children of Men" yesterday on Filmflex, after seeing wonderful reviews of it.
Both me & mr floss were left with :confused: over our heaRAB too!!!
 
The Departed, one of the worst last half hours of a film I've seen in a long time. Not sure about other people's suggestions....I think it's more a lack of interest in a genre.
 
Lord of the Rings.
Donnie Darko.
Brokeback Mountain.
Moulin Rogue.
Chicago.
Silence of the Lambs.
Meet the Parents.
And any Nicole Kidman/Tom Cruise/George Clooney movie.
 
All those computer generated films where people fly through the air, e.g. The Matrix and those kung fu things.

I love musicals but hate West Side Story and Moulin Rouge.
 
I loved Tolkien books but found it really difficult to get in to the films and tbh I didn't really give them a chance (Films never as good as the books and all that..)

When I did actually sit down and watch them, I loved them and have turned in to a LOTR geek :o

I didn't like the Harry Potter films though.
HP Fans please don't kill me! :D
