pop3 email on VX6700 with Cricket

So I have searched and not found any info on if any one is successful using pop3 email on a VX6700 with Cricket. My WAP and MMS (in and out) work great, but I really want POP3 to work. I know my settings are correct because I can send and recieve when using WiFi.

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.
 
Thanks for the reply..based on your understanding I can assume no one on Cricket can use pop3 email?

Can anyone confirm or deny this please? It may be a deal breaker for me and I really dont want to go back to VZW.
 
Push e-mail working doesn't mean POP3 is working. I have Push working just fine from an Exchange server, but POP3 will not work.
 
OK so please tell me more about the push mail you have working. I am coming off using a Blackberry so this would be acceptable as well. I have searched for and found a few alternatives for this but I cannot seem to get connected to Emoze (first one I have tried)

I used to have pop3 working on my cricket phone (samsung i730), but then they shut down the ports. My emails came in every minute into pocket outlook. It worked like a champ. The shut down of the ports caused everyone that was using pop3 to get shut down at the same time.

I know several people that were accessing pop3 that were shut out on the same day in different parts of the country, so it definitely was a systemwide shut down.
 
I have tried to set up push email but cannot seem to get it to work, which is why I asked . I have instaled both Emoze and Morange and I get network errors.
I have searched the Cricket forum and did not find what I was looking for.
So again any one who has push working on a xv6700 with Cricket please let me know how so I can try.
 
Lol, I gave up on mail and such on my cricket phone. Im back to a simple V3m with a custom flash and everything working. I also picked up a Sidekick III and got the prepay plan. Nationwide roaming and data unlimited email, web browsing, text, IM, and data. $30 a month. I love it. Then again im moving to tmo soon (thank god for dealer lines).
 
omg. i fricken hate sidekicks. i want to kick-flip everyone with a sidekick. they are huge. and fricken ugly. but no the v3m does not do more, it's just smaller, and less ugly and less huge.
