well, i'm in year 10 and i've just started my pop art project. all of the work we do in the project has to be linked and will eventually lead up to a big pencil crayon piece of our own. we have to choose one pop art artist and work in their style and we have to base our ideas around one of the seven deadly sins (lust, gluttony, greed, etc).
however, most of the others in my class are picking food products in the style of andy warhol and basing it on the sin gluttony/greed so i wanted to do something a bit different. i want to do mine kind of retro and include converse shoes, gola bags etc.. really focusing on the clothing side and logos, my teacher said that is fine aslong as i can find a pop art artist to focus on. the thing is, i can't. so, can anyone help me with finding a pop art artist, who uses really retro clothing, converse, logos or anything along them lines? i also need to pick one of the sins that will fit in with my idea. thanks in advance
