Poor posture equals back pain?

For about a week I've been experiencing off and on upper back soreness along with soreness in my chest. Its nothing that makes me think there is anything serious going on because its the soreness that one experiences with weightlifting - bench press and other upper body strength exercises.
I'm a healthy 28-year old and exercise regularly. I'm thinking that I've been sitting in an easy chair wrong - curled up and hunched over.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how is it corrected?
