Poor little birdie.

The kids that I take care of just brought me this teeny little bird, on a towel.

It's still pink, eyes are closed, and it's chirps are so quiet.

I remember hearing that if you touch a baby bird, or the egg, the mother won't ever feed it, or take care of it again. Or is that just something your parents tell you, so you won't fuck with them? I dunno.

All I know is it looked so miserable, and vulnerable. I put it back into the nest that it came from, and it's really gonna blow ass if the mother doesn't take care of it.

If the momma doesn't feed it, find some earth-worms, chew them up and give it to the baby bird. At least you didn't an endangered species of bird lay eggs in your beard or goatee.

When I was a kid, I found a nest that had fallen out of a tree that had three baby birds in it. I was gonna bring them in and take care of them, but momma bird pwned me before I could even pick them up.

That's a myth. I've helped plenty of baby birds back into their nests and the mother still cared for them. There's a robin who laid four eggs in a bush right next to my window. So I'll have to watch out for those little fckrs to fall out. :\ Anywho, rep to you for actually caring.

Ok, the mother kicked the bird out of the nest.

Any help on caring for baby birds (note, there are no feathers, and it's fuckin tiny) would be appreciated. I'm going to try to nurse it, and get it in good health.

I read a few docs about finding baby birds. They say if the baby is returnned to its nest, the mother will not reject it, even if it has been handled. Either, this case is a fluke or that might not be its nest.
All of the sites I visitted say that you should call your local vet or wildlife rehab office. Until you actually get hold of someone at these places:

hahahahahahahaha beats gettin a dead cat thrown in ur bed while ur sleeping. babysitting a kid few months ago, he decided to give the cat a bath hahahahahahah porr thing drowned!!!!!!!! LOLLLL ...........................and now he has a dog oh god :frown:

Wow, umm. That's right on topic!

Well, anyways, here's the bird update...

He/she is no longer with us. I stayed awake with it for a long time, then it stopped stirring, and stopped it's little bird chirps. It was gone.

I guess it was just too young, and the fall didn't help at all. :thumbsdn:

I should've expected it, but it still sucks.
