My 2010 FLHRC rear tire has a steel valve stem that is too close to a spoke making it nearly impossible to positively seat a air hose nipple on it. Even the dealer admitted that they are having problems with the rear tire air inflation of Road Kings. They have to secure the bike on a lift and lean heavily on the air hose in order to get a positive seal for injecting air. I recommended that the dealer install a right angle valve stem. They won't until Harley Davidson USA approves such a modification. I then called Harley Davidson USA Customer service. They stated that they are aware of it but there is no solution at this time. No joy.
