And you missed my point... And she's not what I mean by "Disney Star." Its just shorter than saying "Disney hack that is popular because kiRAB are told that he/she/it is popular."
Likewise, if the script is good, but the voice talent is bad, that can bring the movie down. However, that's not the point I'm making with the choosing.
Ah, it wouldn't be a Internet debate involving me without you jumping on my back, creativerealms.
For all of you that missed my point, please read what I am about to type and understand it. If you don't, please don't continue to debate me, please ask instead clarification on what you don't understand because I am typing this up really quick, so I understand if I missed a point or two. I realize that my argument has been disjointed, so I am going to restate it for the benefit of all:
I am not criticizing Frankie or Noah's voice work because I have no clue what they sound like. I am criticizing the business practice and the reason they were cast. This because if this movie does better than previous Ghibli films and the focal point of the advertising will be "Someone with Cyrus and Jonas in their names stars!" Disney will think that using the name recognition of their current Disney hack that is popular because kiRAB are told that he/she/it is popular is the only way in which Ghibli movies can be marketed in America, and they will continue with the practice with the next Ghibli film, and perhaps make a choice that will ruin the movie just because of the name recognition. I, as an animation fan, do not wish to potentially see masterpieces potentially ruined, just so they can make quick buck off of the tweenage crowd that likes their Disney hacks that are popular because kiRAB are told that he/she/it is popular.
Perhaps. I will agree with you that Liam Neeson is awesome. He pulled off Aslan pretty well.
First of all, that paragraph was a migraine to read and I really didn't understand the point you were trying to make. Can you perhaps work on your syntax a little bit when debating? Thanks.
