Ponting, tendulkar and cricket?

(better dont participate if u dont hav enough knowledge of criket and players;half knowledge is dangerous) How many of u think ponting is skillful,valuable,big time player and overally greater than tendulkar?? Plz dont just go behind runs and centuries; after playing more matches, runs and centuries obiously increases. BRADMAN,HOBBS,SOBERS,RICHARDS,HAMMOND,HUTTON all these players played less matches and why they are best of the best? Ponting has become icc player of the year twice,twice world cup winning captain, century in WC final n most sucessful captain whereas tendulkar has played lots of matches and has lots of run;many of them are not scored in big occassions. Ponting is in all times great lists in many surveys and magazines but not tendulkar in all.
 
According to your first warning, you should not ask this question. Because you dont have enough knowledge of cricket.

First on all playing so many matches is a record itself. It requires mental toughness, disciplined training and practise throughout of life.
2nd thing, maintaining same standard of performance as he was 17th and now he is 38 is awesome. Infect performance standard is increasing day by day.
Watch out the runs of Ponting in previous 4 years. What happened to him? Even he is younger than Sachin.
Sachin had 9 centuries in 2010, 1 double centuries, and 200* in odi, in 2010.

And what are the stats of Ponting for 2010? I think it will be only 10th part of Sachin.

Sachin was ICC player of the year 2010. And what about Ponting in 2010?

Sachin is double than Ponting. And ten times better than Ponting in sportsmanship.



Ponting is only ahead in one thing from Sachin, that is controversies.

and yes Sachin didnt use graphite bats in the WC final like Ponting did to score his centuries.

Ponting merely carried forward the team which was made my steve waugh....he has been carried by the likes of Mcgrath,Hayden,gilchrist....

All the players you mention are asstralians....no one other than your 20 % of the 20 million population even thinks they are the best.

And why are you trying so hard to prove Sachin is not a great player?stupid jealous fag asstralian.....go eat spiders in your bush.
 
ponting helped us get through to the semis by playing that boring innings. he scored runs at snail's pace and did not take the spinners on. he also made some blunders during india's batting which allowed india to crawl their way back into the match. so, he is definitely a greater player than sacin.
 
lols u comparinf sachin with that cheater punter....

wts his average in india 20s lols.. sachin avg in australia is 59....

punter always got the support the great players like hayden, gilchrist , symonds, martyn , steve waugh mark waugh, warne , lee mcgrath, the great test bowling attack abd greatest batting attack...

and these australian batsman never get chance to great australian bowlers... and other than sachin batting avg of all players against aus mostly every one sucks against tham specialy in odis..... sachin is then only man always stand against tham......i guess u jealous ass from him...

any ways.... pls tell me what punter has done after retirement of these great players he even forget batting...

if he would had played for any avg team like india , sl ,wi or pak... his would never hav been greater than 45 in test and 38 or 39 in odis....
