I have a 2001 Firebird and just recently started with this problem. I had bought a new headlight to replace one that had blown the first week of December. Two weeks later, I thought the new headlight had blown since it did not come on. I went back to the place where I had bought the headlight two weeks previously and they let me switch them out. My problem is this: Even with a brand new headlight it still does not work. I have a feeling a fuse or relay has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Where is this? My Haynes bible tells me nothing and I know it cannot be that hard. Its the left side.

Im usually pretty good at figuring this kind of thing out, but this one is stumping me. Thanks in advance.

If a fuse or relay, both should fail. I would pull the bulb again and check the plug really well for corrosion or broken contacts.

You should have a really for the head lights in the master fuse box that under the hood, If your only have a problem with one head light then you need to have the wires check and you may need a new pigtail that means a new plug for the head light. Imo take it to a Good shop and have them check it out, if you feel up to it you can do it your self do take your time...

Good luck.

u got pwer at headlight check with test light if that is not working go to switch check for power comming to switch and leaving switch if that is good and no poer to headlight you got a broken wire or bad ground also check were you plug headlight into see if its corroded
