Pontiac Grand Prix Low Fuel Light..?

I have a 2006 grand prix..how long can i drive with the no fuel light on? I have to go about 20 miles to my friends house..and gas is cheaper there..haha anyone that knows about cars..or has a grand prix..yeah! let me know..:D
 
in my manual for my 99 grand prix i think it sais about 30 km.. which is about 19 miles i think.. dont do it.. and you should always leave atleast a 1/4 tanks in your car, the fuel pump uses gas to cool its self, if you always drive around on empty, youre going to need a new fuel pump soon (1000$<) and you will wish you werent so cheap :) :P
 
why dont you just put 1 gallon at a close gas station, drive to your friends house and then fill up there. im sure your car get 20 mpg to get there, so you should be safe.
