I have a 2005 Grand Prix. It idles perfectly and cruises at highway speeds perfectly. The issue occurs between 1000 and 1500 rpm's during slow acceleration. During this time the engine pulses. The rpm's do not rise with steady pressure on the accelerator peddle. Instead it fluctuates. It will rise 100 to 200 rpms then drop 100 rpm's or so then jump rapidly back up. It continues to do this until it shifts into second gear. It also shifts too soon during slow acceleration. If I take off from a stop rapidly this does not occur. It gains rpm's with no hessitation and shift into second gear firmly and properly. It's just i can't always do jack rabbit starts with this car. I would like to be able to drive it like a normal car.
