I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 and I have replaced the struts on it 4 times since owning it (less than a year, bought used with 27,000 miles on it) I am very cautious when driving my car over pot holes and bumps so im positive it has to be a defect with the car. Does anyone know of this problem or know what I can do so I don'tt have to keep paying for the repair?

Did you do a car fax on the car? How many miles are on it now. Are you taking it to a dealer to do the work? If you have done the struts 4 times it sounds like there is more than a strut problem. These cars have had intermediate shaft issues which feel like a strut has gone bad. When you have a strut replaced does it fix the problem or does it still act up. I would be willing to bet its the shaft you fix a strut and the problem is still there take it in to a dealer.

I guess it would help to know why you keep replacing the struts. What supposedly is the problem with them?
