Pontiac G6 Gtp Starting up weird!?

Just recently upon starting our car, it kinda gets stuck like trying to start. usually a newer car it will start up with a crank noise of about two times. well this cranks cranks cranks cranks until you turn it off. it almost sounds like something isn't "catching".

I hope that made sense, any suggestions ?
