I have a 2009 Pontiac Torrent. When I'm going about 45 - 50 mph, and try to accelerate, the engine cuts out really bad and the check engine light comes on. The only time it cuts out is around that range of speed and I try to speed up. I realize that there is a problem there, but I was wondering if anyone else that owns a Torrent may have had the same problem. I tried to look up recalls and known vehicle defects but I wasn't able to find anything on it. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow, but I just wanted to get a little insight before I did so.
