pontiac bonneville sse ran out of gas and wont start..?

I have an 1996 pontiac bonneville sse and it ran out of gas and now it wont start. Have any ideas? I put about 2 gallons in out of a gas can.
It has been running good but i just ran out of gas one time. Also i just got this car last night. When you try to start it will turn over but just wont start all the way.
