Pond water is horrible! I think one of my fish are dying.?

I'm no expert but my dad has had lots of trial and errors with his pond. Have you thought of buying one of those little hoovers that cleans the bottom and sides of your pond? Also make sure you have invested in a good quality UV filter that can keep on top of the job.

Moving things in and out and changing water just upsets the ecosystem for them. They will have built an immunity to the old water. Now you might just have to leave the pond alone a while to 'settle back down', just cleaning it as and when necessary and hopefully the filters will do the rest. Unfortuntely it is common for fish to die while you are trying to get their environment right. I would put the fish back in the pond and out of the bucket. He sounds like he might not be happy in either but I think he's got a better chance being back in the pond.

I had beach pebbles in my pond. The large fish kept getting stuck in them. So I removed them. When I did, cloud of dusts came and it was horrible. so I emptyed the pond and filled it again. because I couldnt clean the floor its still horrible and cloudy.

I have a filter with a UV so will that clear it up? Also I think my fish is dying. I have a huge bucket that the fish are in and one of them are staying still at the bottom and u can touch him and he doesnt move,
stop doing what?
I cant put him back in, i need to let the water settle and yes I emptyed the entire pond.
