yeah, a pleco would be great for doing that but u need to feed him sinking algae pellets which have added nutrients twice a week
don't use goldfish or koi! they will eat algae but it's not right to starve them and make them eat it!
how would u like to be starved and forced to eat dog food !
feed goldfish flake food!
